Whilst Clearing out the old garage my dad found my old yellow tonka dumper truck.

it's mechanically in perfect nick but has suffereds from 30 years in a damp garage. i plan to clean the paint with ipa to lose the accumulated muck, then spray the slighty rusty paintless bits with that anti rust stuff that i used on the inside of the steel frame the other year.

other option is to strip and hammerite for another 30 years...

what's the best option.

it's got to be yellow or it's not tonka.

If you want to sell it then don't do anything to it other than gentle cleaning.

If you are keeping it then do what you want 🙂
