South African police have said they've found testosterone and needles at Oscar Pistorius's home. Is there any reason they'd be there other than doping?

Yeah he was looking after them for somebody else.

That's what he says anyway.

That's one of the issues with disability sports. Where does managing a condition end and doping begin?

It would be a rather whimsical and naive view to believe that disabled athletes are any less likely to be cheats than any other.

Thats what I was getting at. Being lucky enough to still have 2 legs, I don't know if he would need to be injecting testosterone for any reason linked with the loss of his limbs. Might there be justification or is he likely to be cheating at sport?

The investigating copper is getting a bit of a kicking in court this morning. It's a bizarre justice system, rushing all the raw untested evidence out into the public domain within days of the incident.

I wouldn't be surprised if his stash doesn't turn out to be "herbal remedies" after all, once it's been tested. Would you?

Yeah, it must be great being a journo in SA.

Well I have no idea, and I am sure the truth will out. That does not detract from the fact that the cop misreported the facts. He does not know what is in the bottle.

it is interesting how lots of damning stuff has been reported and yet the defence are picking some pretty big holes in the Prosecution.

I am non partisan in the whole thing, if he did it so be it, but it is all to easy to take people down in the legal/press melange. I would rather a proper judgment was made on the facts.
