Tomorrow setting off on a euro roadtrip from France to Germany but unsure as to any C19 restrictions likely at the borders, the usual searches don't seem to be conclusive but that might just be me being blind. Trip originating in Surrey so not a C19 hotspot atm...

They’re only checking (some)Belgians at the border.
We have to complete an online travel form after we’ve been away and the police are stopping random cars to check if that’s occurred...
Trucks and foreigners are going straight through

I'm in the Netherlands at the moment, drove through Belgium last Friday no problem. However our Dutch host has said that there are restrictions around Antwerp & stopping, even for fuel, is forbidden at certain times. Not sure on the validity of this though.

Just sat in Calais McDonald's having just come from Germany via Holland and Belgium. Not seen any checks happening, nothing obvious around Antwerp either. Did see a few signs that seemed to be about increased checks heading to the Belgian coast but not 100%.

Have done the online forms for check in at Calais, will report back on how much attention is being paid to them

Can confirm Belgian drivers still utter dicks.

Forms not mentioned. French border control didn't look at passports but did take drug swabs from door cards. UK border control checked passports, all same same really. Nothing covid specific, guess that the UK side could have had online access to the forms but given how the government have handled the pandemic so far I very much doubt it!

Tailgating so close that you start to question whether you are in a parallel universe where multiple pieces of matter can occupy exactly the same space!

Coming back from the Netherlands yesterday we were giving a URL when checking in with Stena and told we had to complete an online form for coming back into the UK - no paper option. Lots of stupid questions, no idea whether they were actually checked. We weren't asked, the car next to us was but they didn't ask to see the proof.

Can't advise on Belgium but we no checks coming into the Netherlands from the UK other than standard passport, no checks between the Netherlands and Germany. Stopped at Danish border but only asked about reason for visit, a flash of a Danish passport was enough to get us through there.

Thanks folks, seems like it's straightforward considering the situation. Driven loads through the place over the decades, just needed first-hand info about now... ;0)
