For those, who like me, hate the "just a link" thing. Bloke was done for 3 times over the limit cycling in Germany, got a 500 euro fine, then some other sort of evaluation as is the norm costing another 500 euros. Didn't pay and has now been banned from all leg powered(non-licenced) transport. The earliest he can cycle again is 25 years and he will have to pay 25 euros a time to do so. Article doesn't mention when he can apply for a driving licence though.

Impossible to enforce though.

Shackle his legs together - would make pedalling difficult.

The net result was the same a ban on using any licence free or leg powered vehicle on the public roads… he can ride a horse though, unfortunately Mr Hahn is allergic to horse hair.

That bit made me chuckle, just too good a story.

Apparently if you get stopped in the UK whilst being pished on the bike you can refuse to take a test, and unlike drivers you wont get charged for refusing to give a sample, allegedly.

Is he still allowed to walk?
