I worked on a civils project at Grimsby docks in the 90s. While it was being dredged they scooped out a nice Daimler Sovereign.

I was in Amsterdam a couple of years ago and watched them doing this. There were an unbelievable amount of bikes coming out, made us British with our odd shopping trolley look amateurish in the throwing metal objects into canals for no good reason league.

A local canal burst its banks a few years ago, and so was drained for repairs. I was disappoint to see only 2 rust shopping specials in the mile of drained canal, far to clean IMO

Our local river holds a mountain bike, visible at low tide by the car park.
Wife told me "No your not fishing that out ".
