Quite enjoyed that.

Bad guy looks suitably bad, a Weeping angel and some Sontarans. What's not to like?

Yeah, silly and menacing combined. Felt quite Douglas Adams in some ways. Might end up being an enjoyable series...

🤞🏻

I found it pretty good, but all the script for the Dr and companions is rotten. Just shouting and panic. Previous series the Dr solved problems and we were able to follow the logical arc to the conclusion.

But the plot, the bad guys, the other parts all look promising.

Thought that tonight's was excellent. The story really is an improvement on the last couple of seanons.

Especially like the line about the Sontaran wanting to ride a horse. The dog bloke is funny too.

I watched the last 2/3rds of tonight's episode. It was better than Strictly.

Just caught up. There's a chunk wrong with it but there's a hell of a lot right with it.

Jodie is far more convincing as the Doctor than in the previous series. Jo's bizarre "Fugitive Doctor" is finally getting some backstory which TBH either needed expanding or "it was all a dream" retconning a la Bobby Ewing's shower. Mandip's Yaz is criminally short changed, she's great and she's been stuffed into some Generic Companion role. John Bishop must already have Big Finish kicking his doors in, he's brilliant and the scriptwriters are clearly having a ball with him. On which BF note, Dog boy likely isn't far behind Frobisher either.

Story, eh. I'm torn between "this is really epic!!" and cynically thinking that it's Chibber's swan song and he's just seeing what he can get away with. At this juncture it could go either way. Hah, time will tell.

Whatever, I'm having fun thus far.
