Apparently Andrew Tate thinks that Dr Who is Mind Poison. Which just goes to prove the adage that if Andrew Tate doesn't like something; it must be good.
Anyone else think that this weekend’s episode was really about…
Sounds about right!
Genuinely chilling episode this one, really well done I thought
It's about time we had a dark one.
NPH is the antagonist this week. Looking forward to that.
Hopefully John Barrowman will never work again – grim chap flopping his little chap out at any given opportunity.
TBH I don’t get why it didn’t come out earlier.
This only really hit the news when Mikey (Noel Clarke) got accused of sexual misconduct.
Both were ace.
As for woke issues, some of you need to get a grip.
Wait, Scrooge McDuck is Doctor Who... again?
Caught up with the 2 specials this week. Much better back to where it was, I tried watching a few after RTD stopped writing but they were just poor.

It's been coming out for years, that's the problem.
His penchant for getting out Little John has been widely known for about as long as I remember him being on screen. It was all a big laugh until someone went "yeah, that's probably inappropriate." He's subsequently apologised but, eh, it all kinda puts him in the Russell Brand bucket for me.
Well, I can see that being quite divisive amongst fans.
FWIW, I think RTD is really playing a blinder with things right now.
The Giggle, for me, was wonderful. Bit of classic Who shenanigans, bit of unsettling scenes, bit of RTD attacking the very media that the programme exists in, bit of setting up some potentially interesting future stuff.
Neil Patrick Harris clearly having an absolute hoot playing The Toymaker.
TV can be great when showrunners are given their head to do what they want - loved the metaness of RTD just playing with the Whoniverse in a story with play at its heart.
bit of setting up some potentially interesting future stuff.
Although... Just watched Unleashed and RTD has kind of poopooed some of that.

You should see him playing Count Olaf, then - more hoots than a flock of owls at an owl convention.
3 pages over 2 weeks and this hasn't been added. I'm quite disappointed in you lot.

NPH is just glorious. I hated Doogie Howser but it's a bit Wesley Crusher Syndrome. Amongst other things he's a consomethinge magician, all those card flourishes etc were likely him rather than a stunt double.
The Google :), that was amusing. I'm not a great fan of ToyMaker type parts but that was acted exquisitely
What do you mean by "ToyMaker type parts"?
What do you mean by “ToyMaker type parts”?
That sort of character where you have someone who makes diabolical machines and is a boss level player while pretending to be child friendly and open. It always feels like a lazy way to introduce a serious opponent
Edit:lazy is the wrong word here. It just feels like a device that jars a bit
Enjoyed that
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Episode 1 was terrible, 2 was ok, 3 was actually quite good.
Episode 1 was fantastic and everything I look for in dr who - on-earth, human stories, likeable relatable normal characters, minimal spaceship type stuff
episode 2 was meh but a good meh
episode 3 was great - they pulled out all the stops. I still personally prefer the more ‘on earth in normality’ episode 1 type stuff tho.
I enjoyed Ep. 3 but I did feel that the final game was a bit of an anti-climax. Also the Doctor's rant about how nasty humans could be seemed a bit out of character, however accurate it might have been.
It’s about time we had a dark one.
Sorry. Had to giggle.
I actually thought that was Alexander Armstrong.

Doogie Howser? Blimey.
Just watched Unleashed and RTD has kind of poopooed some of that.
You made me go and check out the behind the scenes…
“parked”
Once the new Doctor is huge (and the combination of acting chops and RTD means he will be), I can see Tennant doing something again. 2026? You can see why they’d rather we forgot about it for now though. Full focus on the new cast from Christmas Day onwards.
Well, ridiculous but I quite enjoyed it. He'll be a good Doctor, I think.
I don't really think he played the doctor well. He's too Eric from Sex Ed, which is too be expected and I like that, but I think he'll need to warm into the Doctor role.
Caveat; I have only recent started watching DW since Peter Davidson says as my 8yo has been bingeing on the Matt Smith series, which I like. Today's wasn't up to scratch IMO.
I've never seen Sex Ed so I don't have that problem
I’ve seen Sex Ed, there’s of Eric in his performance but also a lot of Tennant.
Thoroughly enjoyed that episode but left wondering who Mrs Flood is.
That was a good one - looking forward to the next series. Silly, but fun.
Perfect first (and Christmas) episode. It’s going to be good this, isn’t it.
Thoroughly enjoyed that episode but left wondering who Mrs Flood is.
Lots of theories that
Plus...
Both good theories that I will pass off as my own to my Dr Who obsessed son.
Thanks.
Thought the Christmas Special was excellent in a silly sort of way. Looking forward to see where they take the plot lines.
Then you also might want to add another?
That
🤔……………. 🤨
