You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I should probably give his stuff much more a listen, think I'd like it.

Have a listen to the “Faith in Strangers” album with decent headphones and a whisky, especially the vocals in track 3 “On Oath. They’ll send a shiver up your spine.
Currently listening to it right now on my Hiby R6 iii Dap and Symphonium meteor iem’s, at this time of night I doubt the nearest neighbour would be too chuffed if I played through my system
Not sure it qualifies as downtempo but I always felt this track didn't get the recognition it deserved.
A bit of thunderous but very melodic synth led techno, this popped up in one of my tidal mixes, bloody excellent two tracks that fit well together on the album, yet more tracks that bring to mind worlds being created before my eyes.
Synth led electronica but with a hold on the ambient side, very soothing/chilling for late night listening

Classic stuff -
Donnacha Costello - Color Series (all of em)
They used to be available as all in one in Bandcamp, but it seems the artist has taken most of his stuff off Bandcamp. Ive bought it there originally.
https://3six.bandcamp.com/album/cold-ecstasy Beatless, but has that atmosphere
Got this from the Touched Music label - 21 anonymous tracks from various artists, who knows who produced what, but they've got track names.
https://touched.bandcamp.com/album/covert-4
The label seems to have done quite a few compilation albums the proceeds of which they donate to various charities.
(I want that m/nd bend\ng e/ectron\c mus/c -shirt!)
Here's some free music, "The Electro Compendium" - some of it's almost* downtempo, but lots of bleepy/acid ticks.
I downloaded it ages ago, but seemingly only had half of it, somehow. It's been coming up randomly in my playlist at work and I think ooh this is good, look to see what it is, and it's off here:

My fellow countryman Aleksi Perälä -

Melodic, harmonious, ethereal stuff. All great. Lots and lots of it, Aleksi is really prodigious.
"Aleksi's music is prepared with a special tuning system that eschews traditional Western musical scales in favor of a series of resonant frequencies known as "Kolundi Sequence"."

Good mix, all of the pieces his own.
https://soundcloud.com/rob_booth/aleksi-perala-482-electronic-explorations This one too, awesome stuff.
Epic downtempo acid track

Here's a full hour of 100bpm (ish) bleepy acid. Very nice:

Not massively downtempo with regards to BPM (120) but its acid and a nice head nodding groove. Released 2 weeks ago

https://boomkat.com/products/acid-trax-af52c359-067e-4372-b508-ec1604215a7a This is very good. Physical editions only. No digital.
the Sprinkles mixes are brilliant.
@desperatebicycle I saw Rival Consoles at The Barbican Centre a couple of years ago and it was pretty epic. You should have a good time.
One of Mr Twin's slower EPs, according to internetz it's a sluggish 100bpm, lots of gurgly on it, enjoy the bass.
disliked it at first, but really grew on me.
What's the slowest beat-based electronic music you got?
Actually quite liking this:
"I have always been intrigued by playing audio back at different speeds. Be it speeding up breakbeats to make Jungle or slowing down pop music to make drawn out nostalgic atmospheres”
Some of my first experiments with pitch were with my brother. We’d record ourselves onto cassette and use the hi speed dubbing feature to change the pitch of our voices. If you held the play button down half way it would cause the tape to play back at different speeds - mangling the audio.
“Over the past year I became fascinated with playing on 7 inch records on 33. New rhythms, grooves and textures appear when you change the pitch of audio. It can totally alter the emotional quality of a piece of music you thought you knew so well - creating new artifacts with a familiar yet dreamlike quality.”
I've been listening to his album SLOW860 on Spotify recently. Not sure if it's the same thing?

Speaking of AFX, this has been blowing me away for the last few days on heavy rotation:
(The cover 'artwork' is perfect, also).

I listened on headphones. It's quite a journey.
"Are we aware of Max Cooper?"
Yes, very aware. I may have a Max Cooper evening.
I have listened to this mix pretty much every day this week. WELL chuggy. Starts out around 80bpm and eventually manages to creep up to around 100:

Quite trippy. The kind of thing that makes me wish I was back home after the club, lights dimmed, about 6am, slightly discombobulated. About 20 years ago...
Also, someone mentioned Om Unit's recent Acid Dub stuff, but thought I'd post his earlier stuff.
This EP was amazing - slow, downtempo spacey techno bassline vibes with a big splash of computer game music. 100bpm ish:

His 'chug revolution' tape from 2011. This one even has a tune by me in it 😉

I hear ya. The "Oh damn, the sun came up!" and "Who's this random on my sofa?"
My "post club, creeping in the house and praying not to bump into my parents" albums were always something like Logical Progression / Progression Sessions.
