Bathroom window no longer locks shut.
The handle goes through the full movement it should and the locking bar moves a little bit but not enough to engage the slots on the frame. Dunno. My guess is that a certain teenager has simply used excessive force when trying to close the handle and broken something.

I see I can easily go and buy a new locking mechanism and handle online and the bits look the same on the website. Is it going to be easy?

Easy, if new handle has shaft longer than old one, will need a hacksaw, but other than that, just unscrew, screw.
