Im not reading all that, but to the OP, surely if the lady in question is aware of the potential negative effects of cannabis, then surely she could just choose to give it a try. Its pretty easy to get the dosage right when smoking, when it feels right- stop for a bit. If the worst happens and she gets paranoid or lethargic then stop, and it'll go away in a half an hour or so.

You do realise ever since modern medicine was invented life expectancy has been going, cancer survival rates have been decreasing, Aid's is becoming survivable, that the NHS service is one of the best healthcare systems in the world despite it's flaws etc etc etc
