There should be clear warnings. I blame poor signage.
Seen them quite a lot in fod on many a jaunt. Always very wary as they have a reputation.
Saw a big group of them last summer. Lots of young and some big beasts too. Gave them a wide berth, after trying to take some photos obvs..
Scary 😯
It's Darwinism at work. Who thinks it's a good idea to hand feed a wild pig with an attitude problem?
*The pig not the idiot.
I don't think he did, did he?
He was walking his dog and it ran out and attacked him.
I think the story is reported differently locally. Certainly there was a copy of the story on the DTV facebook page where in the ‘Forester’ the local paper this chap was trying to feed the boar!
The Review suggests that he was 'just walking along' and it bit his finger.

Still haven't got the hang of posting links in here, maybe this will work:
It's Darwinism at work
I'm not sure how you think Darwinism works - but if you're using your finger I think its working. 😆
Well, small consolation I suppose...
Of the Mail had reported it I'm sure the boar would have turned out to be of French origin and sent here to derail Brexit.
"Boar, Enemy of the People."
Well i stand corrected, it seems it did "just bite him" They always just run away when i see them, which is allot!
Would make an interesting take on The Walking Dead.
The the boar is reported as saying
"You're right, they do taste a bit like pork"
