I once followed a shark here for a few minutes when I was snorkeling with a bleeding finger. Can I now count that as surviving a shark attack?
Devour'd by the sh :oops:ark?
Sounds like a scapegoat or mis-identified shark to me.
What on earth do goats have to do with the attack?
Can't see people paddling in the sea or snorkeling identifying it correctly. But they're not going to allow reports of a great white to get out.
I was checked out by a couple of what I thought were flippin big for dolphins when I was windsurfing at Ras Sudr, just down the coast from there.
I wonder...
HTF will they ID it if they find a shark?
Her arms were bitten off
Jeez sounds pretty horrific!
I read some where that the Med was used by Great Whites for breeding but they didnt eat there.
A basking shark cruised past me when I was out with just one other surfer at Sennen. I was *just a bit* nervous, vegetarian shark or not.
Claimed another victim today.
I'm going there for a conference in Feb. Might stick to the bar, rather than the beach. Although I was probably going to do that anyway, thinking about it.
Sounds more like Tiger Shark behaviour....unusal.
