Cleaning lady reminded me last night.
I forgot and headed to the long flowers queue at Tesco...

My butler is going to collect, write and deliver ours.
Damn it.... Guess I have missed the last post now.
M&S ebsite has been crap yesterday and this morning - giving up and heading to LFS before tyre investigations and ride (hopefully)
****ing amazon decided to ruin the wife's new running top suprise from the kids by plastering it all over any Web pages she visited yesterday on the laptop. I didn't even order it from amazon or even search for it in the computer just on my phone 👿
The cleaner at work Drac.
A little card or a thank you goes a long way.
Yes I know it's a marketing thing like valentines.
Don't leave the £10 sticker on the flowers either.
Chocolates are going cheap too.
Don't forget to support your local independent gift shop.
Keep me in new bike bits.
I'm an orphan. 😥

And this is why shared logins are a bad idea.
Podted this a year ago, seems like quite a few of you used it as Mother's Day breakfast.

Popped out with the kids this morning and they chose thier own for Mum. My 3yo daughters only pre-req was "pink" so it was pretty easy.

Actually Mothering Sunday is a Christian festival, albeit one that is heavily marketed by card companies.

Will he be taking the Maserati?
Mums get into Twycross Zoo free tomorrow.
There's an inappropriate ape joke in that somewhere

Yeah sorry for those who have poor relationships or have lost their mother.
I think this will be the last one for my mother (B cell lymphoma) second time after recovering and our relationship went stale. We care but personalities clash and she is a terrible patient.
What a ****t I would be if I forgot the last Mother's Day. Don't do the same as me.
Bought some flowers, a quirky card and Thorntons - which I'll probably eat more of as she's not greedy like me. 🙂

TBH, your post if pointless without pics
Your mum said she preferred to stream it live.
L'il J and I have hand painted a card ,bought Lindt chocs ( our fave ) and he selected a plant in a ghastly ceramic watering can.
Should be worth a weekend pass to Rottingdean /South Downs next week .hurrah.
Mines been in Mallorca for the last 4 months...
I dare say she's lost all track of both time and date..
To which I'm hoping she has..
😛
I too did the shuffle of shame to the shop to pay my annual Guilt Tax at the last minute, along with other people also buying ££££££s of landfill.
Everyday is a mother's day for me ... 😛
Facial and massage deal cheaper than flowers - boys got a lucky break with my wife.
Don't forget Hallmark / Flower or Gift Shop / Local Pub or Restaurant Day
FTFY
Though tracing the history back beyond the American commercialisation, Mothering Sunday or 4th Sunday in Lent had little to do with appreciation of your mother, it was about honouring the mother church.
If I offer the wife a facial on mothers day it's not going to end well...
Ha-Just spat coffee all over phone. 🙂

Think your mum might find it even less positive...
Ewww
When is it?
My wife wanted to take the kids out for a bike ride for Mothers Day - win win here!
Carsington looked lovely when it was snowing, shame it didn't settle.
I suppose I should be grateful that my kids did make the effort to text me this afternoon...
Ajax ran onto the pitch holding hands with their mothers today instead of local school children which is rather a nice touch.
Bought flowers on behalf of the wee one, wife came in at 4 ish today having been away since Fri afternoon, announces that we're off to see her mother and would I mind if she gave her flowers to her mum. I gave her a look of disgust and later this evening threw the bunch into the outside bin. She's upstairs now in a huff as if I'm the bad one!!!
