Ms S has been looking at one of these for general domestic use.

Anyone have one?
Which one?
What do you use it for?
Glad you bought it?
Any tips?

Thanks in advance.

We've got the Morphy Richards 9 in 1 job. Does a good job on the floors, gets all kinds of crap off. The handheld thingummy is pretty crap though, very underwhelmed by its performance on grout and things, where I expected rather more. Bought for floors though, so does a great job!

Where are you Rusty? We have a large Lidl one that is yours for a few beer tokens if you want and can collect from Northampton? It works well, but we just don't ever use it as we have carpets everywhere.

Borrowed a couple of different ones from friends to try but was underwhelmed & ended up just getting the Vax floor one as that was the main reason looking in the first place. That is really very good indeed.

slackman, thank you, much appreciated, but we're nearly 200 miles away, so probably not worth it!

Just got the Vax S2 last week and very impressed so far. Heats up in 40 secs and cleans easily and doesn't leave the floors very wet. Would definitely recommend. You can get a damaged packaging one in amazon for £38 or so.
