any thoughts on whether it's best to have the site name as 'one word' with an obscure .suffix or the site name hyphenated with a .co.uk suffix ??
Only a small site for a few work sidelines so not really bothered in attracting passing trade but would like at least some degree of credibility in the name.....
Personally. I'd go for .co.uk as it sounds more professional, although it's all about search engines these days I guess.
if you are only interested in direct traffic then whichever one makes more sense to the people using it and is easier to remember.
for search engines the domain name is only a very small part of the puzzle.
My main concern is that the site associated e-mail addresses look kosher, so I'm thinking a slightly altered name with a .co.uk would be best......
