Doing the Sky dance…?

I’ll be honest, other than the cost increases I’m happy with Sky. But as usual costs have gone from £89 per month to £134 out of contract and it needs to come down. I phoned yesterday mentioning Virgins comparable offer at £65 per month - £122 after 18 months and the offer led to knock £15 off. Tsk.

Do I actually have to leave? Any tips appreciated.

Whatever offers are available to new customers are available to you. My costt jumped from £45 pm to £80 when out of contact. Phoned them up and they put me straight back to £45.

Already swapped the broadband, Plusnet router is better, TV goes next week. Had one offer of a reduced rate, still too expensive. To add insult to injury had a letter reminding us today our box is out of warranty and for a mere £9 per month we can insure it against failure. Box went out of warranty about 4 years ago.

Will not miss it when it goes. It's a dying business model.
