There's a poo bin across the road from me on a little patch of grass that seems to be the local dog toilet..
My favourite thing about it is the folk that save up their dog poo for weeks on end and then come and dump three or four refuse sacks of cack next to the bin..
Today is especially interesting as due to the strong winds there is now a binbag full of shit billowing around the neighbourhood
good times 😐
They do seem to be overflowing/surrounded by a pile of poo bags half the time.
Dogists should just carry them home and put in their own bin. Gives you a nice handwarmer to keep in your pocket for the rest of the walk too.
I do actually take it home if that's the closest bin and all joking aside, it does serve as a hand warmer.
Set it on fire, nothing in the world cannot be solved in this manner.
My dad always said that all dogs should be sewn up.
It amazes me that we have now got a society where people willingly follow a 4-legged shitting machine around, picking up its shit, putting it in a little bag, then if they don't just hang it in a tree, putting it in a bin. And we then employ people to empty those bins?
Who's in charge here?
Why not just get a cat? They just shit in your neighbours flower beds, so you don't have to worry about it.
Plant a tree next to the bin

The cat militia are going to be knocking on your door soon.
Our local shit bins get vandalised on a regular basis, i'm more worried about sharing the locality with such a f ooked up individual than stepping in some dog doo.
Who's in charge here?
Horses.
Poo where they want, answer to nobody and we then grow our veg on it.
Yes, but horses are vegetarian . . . a much nicer sort of poo!
Don't get me started on dog poo bins or just bins in general for liter. Its no surprise that people take to dropping their liter all over the place when there's an evident lack of bins to put things in. This is coming from someone with a dog who regular walks both in her immediate area and more interesting places, its frustrating to say the least!
Being a dog owner and poo picker it really pisses me off the way some fellow dogers!! will either leave it for unsuspecting folk to tread in or bad it an chuck it in the hedge/leave it on the path.
AND why is it acceptable for cats to shit any where but dogs can't?
Ah idea....I'm gonna take my dog to the cat owners garden for a shit in their flower borders/veg patch!!
AND why is it acceptable for cats to shit any where but dogs can't?
Neighbour has 4 cats - all come and shit in our front garden. No one expects him to come and pick it up. Buying an air rifle might be the next step.
I thought the bin was just a handy target to fling the bag at.
my dog took issue with a cat doing its business in the garden.
i disposed of it in a bag in the wheelie bin
whose plan was it that dog owners pick up poo, wrap it in plastic, put it in another plastic bag (in the bin), pay someone to collect the big bag, take it away, rip all the individual bags open and process the poo into fertilizer. what happens to all those ripped plastic bags?
Just give the cashew butter factory a ring, they'll soon pick it up
I woke up this morning to the scent of a freshly laid cat turd wafting in my bedroom window - not my idea of anearly morning wake up call, it's time to spread the monofilament netting out over the grass and go cat fishing, they soon get the message.
And folk who pick their dog shite up yet leave the bags lying around the woods - why?, i'd rather you just left it to degrade.

You put the cat in the bin? Great idea!!

You carried it to wherever it was dropped, you can carry it home again.

Massive hater of this - they tie them to tree branches
Round my local woods ( which are also an SSI ) the trees nearest the carpark now look like shitty-Xmas - what mad c**k even invented that & how can they expect anyone to clear it for them ?
the theory is (I've asked people I've seen doing this several times) that they don't want to carry it round and instead will collect it on their return and dispose of it in a proper manner.
So there you have it - it's not poobag ornamentation that's the social concern, it's a clear correlation between dog ownership and short term memory loss. because the ****ing ****s always seem to forget that they left it by the time they return 20 minutes later.
I have the same problem on the Quantocks, the stupid Quantock Ranger service haven't helped by putting signs up telling people to bag thier dog poo. Great they bag it up and tie it to the fence or leave a pile of bags by the entrance to the car park.
I believe some of it is done as a protest due to the lack of a poo bin but I've been told by a former Ranger that a poo bin costs around £1000 a year to empty and is that really what taxpayers money should be wasted on.
The Forestry Comission over at Triscombe have signs saying Stick & Flick (get a stick and flick it in the hedge) much more sensible.
Stick and flick is an even worse idea. At least a bag of shit is clearly visible.
The idea that we should pay for bins for folk to put their dog shite in is bonkers. Just take it home.
It's a shame we can't genetically engineer dogs to produce poo that would be useful.
Dog poo powered cars, with a never ending source of fuel.
Or for filling pot holes in roads.
Or used as a substitute for quick drying cement. Great for foundations.
Might have to make it smell nicer though.

FIFY. 😉
Stick and flick is an even worse idea.
Don't stray from the path!
Never owned a dog, trodden in dog shit a thousand times. When I was a kid the concept of picking up after your dog seemed a bit mental, so hopefully in a few years time all dogs will need nappies and the concept of dog poo bins will seem mental - fingers crossed.
