So I've had a pain in my foot which has been getting gradually worse over the last week,I've just discovered to my horror that I've had a dog hair work it's way right into the sole of my foot? It was in about an inch! Bloody hurt pulling it out too 😯
Just thought I'd share that
Happens from time to time. Not nice.
no pics? worthless post
Pictures?
What type of dog, a wirehaired schnauzer?
Sorry about pics, must try harder next time, the dogs a black lab
Had one of my own hairs in grow across the top of my big toe, the relief when it's pulled out is just amazing.
wow - really? that's mental.
ooh my favourite thing to dig out of peoples feet is ingrowing hairs...I see a few come into clinic with this, mainly hairdressers and the odd dog owner...
splinters are fun too...
I hope molgrips doesn't see this thread.
it'll be a carbon fibre
several others will be working their way to you vital organs right now
😥
how the funk does a dog hair grow into your foot????!?
This is grim! Thanks for sharing!
Used to get it now and then when we had Boxers.

Did this occur after a full moon?
What's really odd is hairdressers can get other people's hair stuck in their foot and it will grow
+1 dibbs, we had a boxer when I was growing up & it's hairs were always getting in the soles of your feet. Nasty.
Yep, never walk barefoot in a salon. Human hair just as bad.

No, it doesn't grow or there'd be a cure for baldness.
This is all news to me. I came back from Malaysia 15 months ago, unable to walk due to a small growth on my little toe. Still got it but learned to deal with the pain and wear clowns' shoes. Perhaps it's dogs' hair?
Yeah, had a black labrador hair in my foot before - fantastic relief once removed!!
Happens to me from my Dalmation, never had it before from my other dogs. Although once one of them shat in the lounge during the night, I went downstairs to get a drink barefoot, have a guess what happended.
