Hi all

I'm after a cage for my car for my new dog. Anyone know of anywhere to get one from? Only seem to be able to find online, but I'd like to take a look at one.

Cheers

Jon

There are about 7 or 8 pet superstores in the Bristol area. I can't be bothered mentioning them. Google is your friend

Is there a Wilkinsons in Bristol? I got my medium one for my Staf there, could do with a larger one now though.
Reasonable quality cages and much cheaper than Pets at home etc.

Ooh Wilkinsons - I'll try there - cheers Granny

As for pet superstores - well I've tried 2 Pet's at home stores and the dog hole so far - no luck there. No luck in Halfords either

Do you want a cage,ie a box that the dog goes in? Or just some bars to stop the dog getting out of the boot and into the front while you are driving?
For cages Wilko's are defo good, as for bars they are a bit harder to get hold off and usually make and model specific i think.

An actual cage - found some online - might just suck it up and order one

Bought 2 cages from Trystorme (Online but based in Scotland)

They do specific cages that fit exactly in the back of your car, had 1 for Focus and Vectra and they were excellent though not cheap. Used daily with locks on cages doors so can leave dogs safely in car with bootlid up and cage locked to lash points in car with cable lock.

If you want I can try and dig some photos out. Don't have 1 for the new car as I don't transport Dogs about as much now.
