Christmas party last night, got home at 8.00pm little worse for wear, but not too bad considering. Decided to have an early night, as was falling asleep in front of the TV.

I have two dogs, a Border Collie, (very intelligent) and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (a bit thick) who get walked every night. Well last night I just let them out into the back garden instead - Obviously because they didn't get a walk, they started planning their revenge....

This morning at 06.40 I was gently woken up by the Border Collier licking my ear 😕 Told her to go downstairs as it was Saturday and wasn't 'time to get up yet'.

Five minutes later the Bull terrier comes in, jumps on the bed with a great big bone I'd bought him last week, proceeds to drop the bone out of his mouth onto my nose - I was still half asleep, but the pain and the blood on my pillow certainly woke me up with a start.

So at 7.00am this morning I was at A&E having two stitches put in my face (between my nose and eye).

Soft toys for them from now on..... Anyone beat that for a pet related injury ?

We had a house viewing yesterday (we're selling, not exhibitionists).

Dog got the shits and crapped in the kitchen just hours before.

I lol'd.

Lol

Missy (Dobermann) got spooked by some baby pigs, she whirled around and took off to get away from them - and crashed into my knee. It was the day before Brighton Big Dog. Next morning my knee was 3x its size, hurt like hell. Tried to race but too sore. Took ages and ££££s at the osteopath to get it right, it's still not the same size and shape as the other knee.

My first staffy Ceaser was as thick as a brick, the second one Badger was the smartest hound I have ever met.

I can imagine them planning this downstairs 🙂

I've got a malamute/gsd cross. His recall is terrible so i was trying to train him using a long line.

A dog came running towards him, so off he went towards the dog. I shouldn't have been holding that line (with loop)in my hand - but I was - it somehow got tangled around my knee with 40kg+ of running dog at the other end.

Orthopod suggested I may not be able to ride again (too many bolts in the knee allready to anything further).

As a result of that, sold my SS and fixie. Knee has got better, but I only ride on road these days.
