I remember hearing somewhere that the scammers deliberately put errors in the text on these messages such as "accoutActivity" and "anyrestrictions" so that anyone with reasonable intelligence will ignore them and just the thickos will respond.
Saves the scammers dealing with people clever enough to know they are being scammed
I've seen plenty from the likes of Santander, Barclays, even a couple from Lloyds which were quite convincing, but this takes the biscuit for sheer blatant scammery! It's almost admirable, in a way... 😀
