Owen Paterson, former Tory MP for North Shrops, and eventually resigned/pushed/dismissed in Bo-Jo's day for lobbying 'irregularities' is taking his case to the European Court of Human Rights. Despite the fact that he is/was a rampant EU Leaver, and had previously campaigned to replace said court. I have no time for that man whatsoever. But taking your case to the highest suitable court in your jurisdiction isn't really 'irony'.
I hope his bringing this case take some more cronies down with him though. Is anyone going to step forward to support him?

Pwerhaps not irony but certainly rank hypocrisy given he wants the Uk to withdraw from the ECHR and thus the jurisdiction of the court. so he wants to deny others the opportunity to do what he is doing

Correct but Patterson wanted us to withdraw from the ECHR and thus the european court would have no jurisdiction in the UK
