It's 3 weeks out of date. When you go to Spain it's hanging up in the bars forever.
Mrs Zip is out and it's all I can find that doesn't need defrosting.
Ps it's been kept in the fridge and smells ok.

Don't thinks so. I have no idea wht the 'date' is on the chorizo in our fridge. Doesn't last that long tbh but 3 weeks is hardly that long anyway. Eat it. Or send it to me.

I would guess that the fat would go rancid before anything else happened. If that happened it wouldnt taste right

Also I am assuming its a cooked chorizo that can be eated without cooking - some are more like sausages and have to be cooked before eating - if it was one of those I might give it a miss

I've done 2 weeks plenty of times without 'problems'.

I say eat.

Bang it in a pan with some onions, 'shrooms & bacon, cook the hell out of it & serve with some pasta. 😀

I imagine it must, eventually. But where as Salami will go weird in 6 days, chorizo IME is most resilient!

Quick & easy (double the recipe for dinner, TBH I can't get enough choizo so I triple that!)

again I'm amazed it's managed to not be eaten in 3 weeks..

Stew MMmmmmm been making this for years, without onion or garlic, done in 30 mins, just enough time for the rice to be done too.

Smell it if unsure, but almost certainly fine.

Last nights cheese was only 4 months out of date and I survived that.

I often wonder this, it seems to last forever. My girlfriend will eat it when it's been open for weeks on end and she's the most risk-averse person I've ever met so I reckon you'll be fine.
