As people can see right into my living room window, I was thinking about trying this stuff out.
The thing is, I face west so don't get any sun through my window as it is and I've heard that the film blocks out a fair bit of light too, can anyone confirm this?
How about Vertical blinds ?
I've put frosting on the bottom half of our front windows so it's hard to say if it's blocking a prohibitive amount of light since the top half isn't covered.
I got ours from http://www.visionwindowfilms.co.uk/Frosted-Window-Film.aspx if interested, the white frosted one. Worked well, first couple of applications are a little "tense" (managed to brick first piece as it folded onto itself) but once you get the idea it's pretty easy. A new scalpel blade is a must, however, IMHO...
