Hi we're heading up to the 7 stanes this weekend and as we are coming from different directions (me from shropshire, others from north wales) we are wanting to meet somewhere. What we really need is any suggestions as to where we can leave a car safely over the weekend. (or even better if someone has a space on their street we could pinch from friday to monday)

Lymm truck stop perhaps...interchange of M6 and M56. Secure but may have to pay to leave car there.

Faced with a similar need, albeit a different part of the country, I did a bit of work with rightmove to find an affluent area near where I wanted to leave the car and then did some google mapping to find a street that looked good. Drove there, parked up, jumped in my wife's car and off we went... came back two days after, all perfect!
I'd say look for a wealthy small to medium sized village - big houses with their own driveways means lots of on street parking!
Our office is in Warrington... Just off the M6.. I'm sure you could park there no dramas at all..

I used to work over the M6 from there, full of scrotes!! Only left mine overnight in the bit of works carpark with cameras all over it with valuables in the office.
