Looking for some Hope brakes, and came across a chap on FB selling a few sets really cheap (125-140). All listed separately....
edit...yup as I wrote this it stinks of a scam
Pretty sure I saw a scammer outed a few days ago selling Hopes on FB.
Ah, possibly the same guy.
Old adage still works for me.
If it seems too good to be true !!!

Absolutely, the poor/stupid sod that outed the scammer had already paid for a set by bank transfer.

True, especially if paying remotely... but there are some real bargains (and stupidly optimistic prices) on Facebook. I wouldn't immediately write something off because it was too cheap, but I wouldn't be sending a bank transfer either. If it is local then it can be worth a look.
Wasn’t located in Stroud we’re they?
There appears to be two. One in Newport and one in Doncaster. Funny enough they are both using identical pictures for a set of Blue X2s. 😂
Probably.
You can always message to enquire when is suitable for collection.
Normally they tell you something along the lines of;
They are offshore so friend will post.
Happy for collection, just need a deposit to hold until you collect as they have been messed about in the past.
Work shifts so collection is not suitable but they are willing to post if you bank transfer or paypal friends and family
etc etc
Facebook market place is a parallel universe of dodginess and stupidity. I still use it to sell household items as they go quickly but every single time I end up wanting to inflict harm on people.
My last advert was for a desk / dressing table. Advert included my standard line "Item will remain listed for sale and available to others until paid for or collected".
Someone messaged to say they wanted to come and look at it in two days time, I said fine but reminded them about item remaining listed for sale etc..
Meanwhile I have about 20 people wanting to buy it and it was collected and paid for, full price 1hr later.
I let the other person know and she went nuclear, called me a tw*t, threatened to come round my house to "have it out" with me and told me I was a dead man walking.
She didn't take too well to me offering her a hug to help with her anger issues.
No doubt eBay will do sod all about it, my van got broken into, all tools stolen, I managed to find one of my very expensive plunge saws for sale on ebay, I know it is mine as I dropped it once and broke the casing. Reported it eBay along with all the relevant crime numbers the day it was listed and they did sweet **** all about it. I watched it be sold to someone else.
The seller is clearly connected to stolen goods as he all ready had previous negative feedback stating it!
**** you ebay
No doubt eBay will do sod all about it
Absolutely no doubt, especially given eBay has nothing to do with Facebook Marketplace.

My mistake I miss stuck that for eBay.
