What's this trend for being cynic-al at the moment?

Guy doesn't know how to post pictures, registers on a forum to sell a bike and puts his full e-mail in the advert... really suspicious! I'm going to put my tinfoil hat on before contacting him.

It seems a bit harsh to suggest that just because someone has only today joined the forum that it therefore must necessarily be a scam.

Why don't you contact him and talk to him about it instead of starting a thread like this? Ask the right questions and you'll soon figure out whether it's 'legit' or not.

Seriously, on the basis that he hasn't any history? But does have an email address? If I were interested I would email him. Don't want the bike but the X7 he took off might have interested me before Christmas so I would have emailed him about that, and bought them with the same safeguards I would have used with someone with loads of history who I hadn't built up a relationship with, no paypal gifts, some kind of contact other than a disposable email account.

You haven't been deliberately building up some history so you can start scamming people have you? 😉
(just in case the winky smiley doesn't satisfactorily convey it, that is supposed to make the whole comment a little more light hearted)
