You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
My wife's been offered two 6 month contracts, both of which she accepted- the second offer was obviously better than the first, else she wouldn't have accepted it. While she's been waiting for background checking (she's due to start work on Monday at one of them if the checking is done in time) she was offered her last job back for another six months, having just finished there two weeks ago, and she thinks she wants to take that.
All three roles are fairly senior at different banks. No contracts signed etc, just verbal acceptances.
Anyone have any idea if she's likely to run into problems using the spurned agencies in the future?
Just use a different agent they are ten a penny
She should go for the one she wants and forget about any future issues. There's nothing in writing so no problemo. Given the way recruitment agents work - if in 6 month's time she's looking again and there's a role that is right, the agent will put her forward if they think she'll get it so they get paid.
Depends on the recruiter. Mostly they will just do what gets them the money, but at the end of the day they are human too, and will put in more effort for someone they like.
post removed - I can't be bothered
they would need to have some kind internal emotive apparatus so clearly they're not capable of bearing grudges...
Some bear grudges some don't personally I do, but not for the above reasons that kind of thing happens all the time.
