Anybody know the best place to buy one? In Glasgow in particular so I can go in and hear the sound of it.

Also, any tips on what to look out for? How much you should be looking to spend on a decent one etc...

Had a shot on one a few times recently, want to get my own now! 🙂

Any help appreciated.

try Rhythm Base: http://www.rhythmbase.co.uk/percussion/bucara-10in-festival-hydrobeat-djembe-brown-and-gold.html

no idea what to look for though, I'm afraid my percussion (not drums/cymbals kit) stops at Cajons

like cymbals, snare drums or guitars. try as many as you can, see what you like the sound of. At the end of the day, it's a box 😉

Mine's an LP Aspire:

should be just under £90
