I'm planning to put a shed on a rough path, made of concrete with embedded stones. I figure it'd be a good idea to level it out a bit, so was wondering whether there'd be an easy way to do that?

My idea was to lay some paving slabs down on a bed of sharp sand and cement, just kind of tapped down into place. Sound okay?

yes, or just build a frame of treated timber to rest the shed on and make sure that's level.

You'll want to raise the shed base off the ground anyway so the wooden frame kills two birds with one stone.

The base has a kind of frame nailed underneath anyway, so the floorboards wouldn't be resting on the ground.

you're still better off with a separate set of treated timbers to rest it on. The shed I got said the warranty was void if you didn't do it.

Doesn't need to be much just enough that the base isn't directly on the ground. Would be cheaper than slabs too.
