Just exposed a Yorkshire flag stone floor in our hallway, not sure weather to lay a wooden floor on top or just clean/restore/seal the stone work.
How do I go about restoring the stone floor? Do I need to get pros in? or shall we just put a wooden floor down and forget about the stones?
any advice gratefully received.
