It's very straight forward. All you have to do is change a couple of settings about 3rd party content and stuff. Then install ES File explorer or similar.

A friend did one for me. It would get seriously hot, not sure if it was due to the jailbreak or not, before it gave up after 3 months. The replacement that hasn’t been cracked has lasted 2 years.
