Has anyone installed a fibre broadband line from their cabinet in the road directly to their house using a finger width trenching tool and resin, then asked open reach to make the connection to the cabinet?
Can this be done legally if done correctly?
Its about £1400 to get the fibre to the property if not, which is a non starter.
Advice appreciated.

Not done any cabling but putting signs up on public / council land requires lots of permits, contractor accreditation, and red tape.. I can't imagine laying cables will be much different.
