Hi guys, I am setting up a self employed business and need to make my own posts for social media, flyers, and banners.
What is the best program to use?
Photoshop and learn it or something easier?
If you can, pay someone who knows what they're doing. The results will be much better and it'll probably pay for itself.
If not, have a look at Canva online. Lots of templates for different things, and easy to use. Photoshop can have a pretty steep learning curve.
Like the man says.. find a decent local freelance graphic designer and get them to do it. Won’t cost much and will look professional.
It’s not just learning the software (which is hardly easy), it’s understanding branding, imagery, colour, typography etc.
If I was doing it, I’d do it in indesign for a start, not photoshop, as its the right tool for the job.
An Adobe Creative Suite subscription is 50 quid a month to start with. Just pay someone who knows what they’re doing
