They are dying to go and their Dad has promised them. How long will it take for them to get bored?

Two days.

Use the Eurostar to get there too, my two loved the thought of going through the tunnel nearly as much as Disney 😉

The tune that once heard will lasts a lifetime!

It's smaller than [s]you think[/s] I thought. One day was enough for one of the two parks for our boys - 7 and 4, so I'd say two days to do both.

Two days'll do it..... just the sound of the clock ticking on the outside of Smallworld brings me out in a cold sweat, nevermind 'that tune'....

Yup two days we went on Friday & returned Sunday evening. Plenty to do but there was a fair bit of queuing for the star attractions of which there are only handful but even so they overshadow the sideshows. We kind of went round again because the good stuff was very good but queuing for Space Mountain 3 or 4 times soon takes a chunk out of the day

The outlaws are treating us this summer - two days in the park and a day in Paris. Kids don't know yet.

Laddo will be far more excited by the fact that he will be going on Eurostar for the first time...

Can you not talk them into going to Legoland in Denmark instead? It's right next to an airport, the staff are friendly and talk English, there's a waterpark next door where you can stay in a lovely Scandinavian apartment...the rides are great...

Our annual pass to Legoland Windsor has only just expired - had enough of plastic blocks and annoying tunes for one year.

Oh, hang on...

Legoland Slough South? A poor imitation...

My two have started saying the word 'Florida' a lot. I'm ignoring that at present. 🙁

I miss the days of going to Disney, my kids loved it. Was it my cup of tea, of course not but that's not what being a parent is about.

2 full days. Maybe another half day. At their age I imagine they will be more interested in the Disney Park rather than the movie one, so one day in each and a half day in their favourite (Disney I would imagine).

If the budget will stretch stay in the Disney hotel at the gates as you get in earlier and you can go back to the hotel for a rest which is important at their age (and yours 🙂 ). You can do a character breakfast. The Wild West dinner show outside the park gates is quite entertaining too. Buy the girls dressing up clothes from their favourite movie and let them spend the day in the park in them and of course wear them to bed. My girls are now 19, 22 and 25 and we still have those outfits. You will come away wondering how you spent so much but if your daughters love it anything like mine did it will be money well spent. New forks can wait.

It's rubbish, avoid. Save the money and take them somewhere fun like the for a week instead.

There's the actual time you'll be there, and there's the length of time it will appear to be; usually the first number squared. 😉

+1. We took our (then) 2 year old last year and she loved it (we sailed to Esbjerg and stayed in Fanoe), but perhaps the OP's kids might be a little too old? As for Disney, I'll be saving up and doing it properly in Florida.

Skip it, it's crap, if you must go to Florida do Legoland, Busch gardens, Universal, KSC, all are better than overpriced, old fashioned and pretty grim Disney.

I was with Molgrips"...

Never ever wanted to go, or take my children. I have friends who went a lot whenwe where In our 20's even before we all started having kids... What's that about....

In the end Mrs booked for us to do Florida a few years ago (a dark cloud was put on my horizon that day), but in the end the kids loved it and I loved being with them while they were loving it.

We're off to Euro Disney for 5 days this year, but we'll break it up, go in and out the parks, play by the pool go back for the fire works etc etc..... Still not my thing but there only kids once and I'll "make" them do the things I think they should be enjoying for the rest of the summer. 👿

Really, I have to laugh at all the parents here posting it's to be avoided. Ask the kids, its a holiday for them. If they want to go somewhere else that's great but if they want to go to Disney take them to Disney. Yes it's expensive but taking 2 or 3 days out of a longer vacation in France or elsewhere in Europe how hard can that be ?

This is the other half's plan. I think he is plotting to drag us all to the Alps for 10 days and do eurodisney as compensation on the way home..

Disney is brill, don't listen to the 'my cup is half empty' parents here, leave the w-wavers to their pretentious holidays, they will never understand the magic of Disney anyway. 😉

Take your little ones, have a great time watching them experience the magic.

I have been to four so far, all were amazing.

btw, make sure you stay for the fireworks if they are on 😉

We are going end July 4 days Disney, 2 days Paris, then a last day gentle drive home stopping somewhere en-route
Plus side, I'm in Paris for final stage of the Tour

My daughter is just 4, she will love it which means I will too

Next year is more about me that'll be Legoland

+1 for what ski said.
We took our 4 yr old twins there last month for 4 days and had a great time.
I've promised them they can go back in a couple of years, by which time they could go on a lot more rides/not need pushing around.
If you get enjoyment from seeing your kids enjoy themselves them I'm sure you'll have a great time.
HTH
