Disneyland Paris in a day. One park or two? 2 adults, not big into the rides and an 11 and 14 year old, the latter does like the big rides. If only one park, which one?

If you are not into the rides its easily doable in a day as the rides are what you queue for. For me Disney is about the Disney park so I would not miss that, if you are not into rides I am not sure what there us to see in the Studios Park. We have been in January on super doscounted tocmets amd done both parks and all the major rides in a day but its deserted then. There is an app you can get to show queing times,

BTW by rides do you mean bigger roller coaster type ?

Got a 3 year old so couldn't comment with older chidren but looking at the info the Studios park doesn't have that much compared to Disneyland. The queue lengths for the large rides was ridiculous but the fact the park is open until 11 makes it better value compared to say Alton Towers.

You can pre-book tickets on the Disneyland website (I think they are called Magic tickets). It was £43 each so saved quite a bit of money and could be used at anytime during a few weeks period so was handy.

The fast queue process was pretty good and works on the Hyperspace ride although it gave tickets pretty late on for the Buzz Lightyear ride was very long. It kept breaking down but I guess a 11 and 14 year old prob wouldn't be interested in any case.

Do some rides when the parade is on as the queues get quieter then. Also depending where you are staying get there for before 10 to get parked and start walking to the parks etc.

We were there in April for 4 and a bit days with a 5yr old. Under no circumstances would I try and do both parks in a day.

Studious has Terror Tower and a couple of coasters, that's about it biggish rides wise, quite a bit of kiddie stuff but still worth a visit.

My advice is get in as soon as it opens and pick what rides you want fast passes for and get them as soon as you can. Thunder mountain is a good one but then you face a trek across the park to get fast passes for Space Mountain/Buzz Lightyear.

Wear comfortable shoes, you will be doing a LOT of walking. I think I averaged around 25k steps each day according to Samsung Health.
