Bog std Bosch dishwasher at home is 14 yrs old. Never misssed a beat. 4 programmes on a simple click dial. Cost me £220 14 yrs ago.

It has been showing signs of wear, loose door, broken seal, grubby and manky etc

Now after a coupe of times slow draining it won't drain at all. I've unblocked pipe, checked filters and even took the bottom off and tried to get the pump to work off the pipe. It just hums and gets hot and the impeller won't turn on its own.

It could be it needs a new pump or it could be the controller?

Given its age and wear it looks like I'll get another one. I'm guessing still go with Bosch? They seem to have good reviews and 14 yrs hassle free dishwashing seems good to me.

I don't need anything fancy, just a few ash cycles for normal, rinse and quick perhaps. A delay timer is helpful.

Anyone got any experience of new Bosch dishwashers,. There seem to be a myriad of models.

Typically these things occur when I'm just about to pay for our holiday and it looks like the dog needs a minor op!

Might prefer a stainless one but I guess it's just aesthetics.
