Apologies, it may have been answered before but can anyone confirm  which monthly subscription to watch the above and all the other cycling,

I suspect it's probably the £30.99 a month but not really interested in paying for the stuff I don't watch

I found the cheapest way (for me, as I was a BT mobile customer at the time) was to switch to EE and get TNT Sports as an add on to my mobile package. With more data than I normally use and unrestricted 5G I’m paying two thirds of the price you mentioned above.

Basic package was £6.99 when i took mine out a couple of weeks a go, the £30.99 included football and F1 I think, which I definitely wouldn't be watching.

Just checking you don't already have Sky Q/Stream as you can get Disco+ for free with that.

The £6.99 a month package gets you all the cycling on Eurosport. Paris-Nice is on live now.

Yeh we've got the standard discovery plus package via Amazon for the classics. Though we're watching Paris Nice highlights on itv4 😍

So does the £6.99/month sub do all the road, CX and MTB that used to be on GCN+?
I used to split the GCN sub with a friend so if we can do that again then it seems reasonable.

As far as I can tell that is correct

Does anybody know why all the cycling classics are labelled as 'premium'? Does this imply that these races will become premium tier in the future? Slightly confusing if people are saying that these are available on the standard subscription.

The 6.99 tier is basically the same as the old GCN, minus the documentaries, however you also get some other minor sports thrown in.

If you want Football, Moto GP etc then you're looking at 30.99 per month

One annoying thing though is that the on demand highlights on Discovery + have ads in, which they didn't on GCN +.

If thats the case for the Grand Tour highlights that's a real downgrade for me, as that's how I mainly watch them

EDIT that's on the £6.99 package, perhaps you don't get ads on the £30 one?

Are the Eurosport highlights worth watching? I never feel they choose any highlights, just leap in towards the end of the race when a lot of the racing has already happened. I just watch the full race and ffwd through the boring bits. Definitely no ads on the full race replays.

And yes just the 6.99 package needed. Has had all the same CX and road stuff as GCN+ as far as I've noticed.

I've only watched a few, for Paris - Nice and Tirreno Adriatico, and they have been a bit like that. Not sure they are the same ones that would have been available on GCN+.

The Boulting/Millar highlights on ITVx have been the best highlights this week.  Shame it's only Paris-Nice though but I expect they can't really watch both and have it all ready that evening!

If you sign up for Discovery+ you get a fun game as an extra: try and find literally anything else on there you'd want to watch. Ghosthunting with Paul Chuckle? Vinnie Jones in the country?

I much prefer recording the live broadcast on Eurosport (via Sky) then screaming at my TV, when watching it back later, as it ends with 5km to go as the riders went a bit slower than expected for the first 150km
