I have a pair of Oakley tightrope sunglasses, that I noticed earlier have scratches over one lens. I bought them about 5 years ago, but they are now discontinued. I have searched and found a couple of websites that can supply them, but don't know anything about the companies.

Can you recommend somewhere I can source some replacement lenses please?

Thanks

Gnusmas

I also have Tightropes which I have found repacement lenses for on ebay. Theres lots from the likes of Revant etc but there is a guy in Ireland who sources original Oakley lenses. He only posts when hes got some his trading name is

horseleap2834122. Ive had 3 pairs and they have been excellent though not cheapest around £40 a pair.

Just had a look and hes got none at the mo but he will have more. All 3 of the sets I bought have been this year. Dont hang about if you do see them oe I will beat you to it!

Dammit, I’m also looking for Tightrope lenses. My original ones got scratched by the kids, I tried ‘Sure’ polarised lenses from eBay but get slight double vision with them. I’ve since tried Revant lenses in another pair and been good but price of these getting towards genuine lenses.

Revant are great - but they are more an option for lenses discontinued by Oakley rather than a cheap option.  To me the quality seems on par with the Oakley product.

Have you tried Oakley direct? Theyigjt have held onto spares. I've had discontinued frames repaired before.

Another happy Revant user here as I needed some for my X-Squared.

Quailty is on par with Oakley and I find the polarisation seems to suit my eyes better than the original ones.

The coating started peeling of my Revant lenses within a few days of me getting them.  If you read reviews online its a fairly common problem.

Thanks for the suggestions, will definitely look into them. I have always kept them in the case but one day a couple of months ago I wore them out and didn't have the case. I was crying lots, but as it was getting dark I took them off and put them in the pocket of my rucksack. Forgot the house keys were also in there and only noticed the scratches the other day.
