someone you think is a friend tells you something is free

you partake

they then inform you they want to be paid a week after the fact as they have changed their mind. as it was a service rather than product you can't return it. you had provided a free service to them, which costs significantly more when you provide it to your clients.

do you

a) laugh and say **** off
b) same as example a
c) err, struggling for any other course of action

?

EDIT - Unfortunately it's not sex related.

100% A

A friend wouldn't even ask. You're being taken for a ride.

Was it dwarves with trays of cocaine on their heads? It usually is.

What you need is some rope, a metal bucket, some rats and a blow torch...he'll soon change his mind.

subtle deadly, but correct.

although this is not in the context of a relationship.

there was an opportunity for a business partnership, she made assumptions, dug a big hole, then dug a bit more. we discussed it, and as a result of things she said i feel that she has serious problems and I wouldn't work with her under any circumstances.

I've decided to ask her to confirm that she believes that it's reasonable to alter a verbal agreement after the service has been delivered and expect payment when previously a service has been described as free of charge. if she confirms that she's happy to do this, I'll invoice her for the work I did for her.

In reality I don't expect payment from her, just want to make her see how stupid it is.

anyway. it's a shame.

Thing is, unless you're actually going to describe what she's done, we cant give the traditional balanced STW reaction 🙂
