what radios will work when this happens?
Will only DAB radios work?
What about am/fm?
What about car radios, will they all need changing?

There are apparently no plans to kill FM off yet, there's not much worth bothering about on AM anyway, DAB radios come with FM as standard, all the FM stations are on digital, car manufacturers are planning on having Europe-wide DAB standard radios fitted by around 2012, currently you can get DAB car head units but it's unlikely they will be DAB+ Euro standard as well. DAB radios aren't expensive, but car units are. Worth looking ahead and saving for a unit in a year or so when there might be more variety. Alpine and Kenwood had DAB boxes that plugged into existing head units, while Sony and JVC were all in one. Not really looked at what's around, I tend to use my iPod plugged into my Alpine unit and don't bother with radio at all, but when I get a decent window mount I might try using streaming radio via my phone as an alternative.
