I really don't understand why this guy gets a suspended sentence

While this one gets two years. Is there any consistency? I would have said matey # 1 is at least as bad if not worse than the second case.
Suspended sentence and a driving ban. For someone who shouldn't have been driving anyway!
Because riding a motorbike is like pissing on someone's face it's still not socially acceptable. And a 200kg bike is more dangerous than a unlicensed uninsured moron driving two ton of metal.
Always been the case motorcyclists seem to get harsher punishment than car drivers.

Do you write for MCN? As everyone knows motorbikes are the most persecuted race in the world...
No but seems you do a three figure speed on a motorbike you get a prison sentence however mudering someone with a car you get away with a piss poor sentence.
Because the driver in the first clip only had evidence of one offence going against him while the motorbiker had '150 video clips of him breaking the law, pne showing him doing 110 in a 30 zone.

Did you read the police report or watch his video , 110 mph in a 30 zone , pulling wheelies through a housing est - he got the right sentence imho .
Both should've had stiffer sentences. Its a bit apples and oranges though. The biker was habitual and doing it in very dangerous places the car driver shouldn't have even been on the road in the first place.
The guy in the second links driving was infact only worth 6 months , however given that he had done driving worth imprisonment on 4 separate occasions he could not be treated as having behaved out of character and given a chance to prove himself.
The system judged the guy in the first clips driving as more culpable but given it was a one off in panic gave him a different punishment backed up by immediate imprisonment if he fails to do the different punishment or reoffends.
Don't you go bringing relevant facts into this!
Bit like how this guy who killed someone doing 50 in a 30 gets a done for causing death by careless driving and received an eight-month sentence, suspended for two years.

He'd just done a speed awareness course too.
