You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
If I want a job working more in industry (so not rewiring next doors plugs) involving fault finding, installation and maintenance of electrical systems - but no design element. What would the job title be?
Since apparently Dave who fixes the boiler is an "engineer" these days 😕
An electrician is a technician who can install and repair electrical systems. An electrical engineer designs those systems.

If "Dave" can also do the Design, specification, planning and Installation of systems then he is an Engineer.
If he can't do that, he's a plumber.

a mate of mine has done this most of his life..
last time I asked, he was an industrial electrician..
Electrical Technician, Responsible Electrical Person (Seriously). I look at specialist training like COMPEX (Installation and testing in explosive atmospheres) or marine electrical training. The common parlance for domestic electrician is "house basher"
A good technician knows they're not an engineer, but they also know that they're better 😉
