So got a call today about my car that said I was due £10,000 in compensation.

They obviously have my phone number but they reeled off my address and reg too, I imagine to sucker me in. I questioned their motives and they hung up.

I assume they got my details from a data leak, I’m guessing an insurer?

anyone else had this?

Data leak would be my guess. Insurer, finance company or DVLA would be the obvious ones.

Report to action fraud.
