Glad it’s not just me; my pad was so slow I literally turned it off and turned it back on again, with the same result. But that’s ok, I’m not alone!

It's virtually unuseable and I'm actually giving up now - if it was any other paid for service I'd be asking for my money back. I don't know why everyone (including me) gives them so much slack. I'm pretty fed up with all the stupid formatting/picture upload errors now. And no it's not my bloody device causing the issues....🙄

Valid point and I’m on here more than usual at the moment because I’m convalescing after an op so I would if I could! It does probably exaggerate/highlight the problems to me as I’m getting the full force of them due to increased useage currently…

Still, it’s pretty poor and clearly these issues are not transient as they’ve been going on for ages. There’s always an excuse for them and it’s never the fault of STW. Other websites don’t have all these problems though so….

Interestingly, the forum works better when I’m not logged in.
When I say better, I mean a bit less shit, but it’s definitely an improvement.

Just go back into the recent CRC bashing thread and apologise for any negative comments made and state what a wonderful online shopping experience you had with your recent order. Worked for me 😉

I would say that there's a solution to that, but there isn't.  Paying up gets rid of the adverts (mostly) and pop-ups (you still have to opt out of some), but it doesn't make the site any quicker.  Borderline unusable again today. Probably for the best, an added feature of membership is 'enhanced digital wellbeing'. Spend too much time on here and we'll make it so slow you go and ride your bike instead. That's brilliant!👍

The hamsters left years ago - they were sick of the pay, conditions and having to drive a local news style website!!

Imagine you have a popular website with many users but running on older and somewhat inappropriate tech (Wordpress). You're a small company with not much budget.

Please put forward any useful suggestions 🙂

Should be sorted about now. Sorry about that. The caching system (Redis) failed at 4pm yesterday - on the very rare day when both our Tech guys were not around.

Getting logged out seems to be this weekends thing as in far worse than the usual rubbish levels.

Fully broken now - can't create posts and most of the page functionality is broken.
