1) mountain coffee Co Gairloch. Cheesey scones and gingerbread lattes... and it's a bookshop
2)The Atlantic Islands centre luing... Just cos!
3)gallie Craig mull of Galloway. Even though its not dog friendly. That knocks it to 3rd
Corrour Station - the Venison Lorne is worth the trip on its own.
I love mountain cafe in Gairloch.

Cinnamon bun, Windsor. Manager Mark is a cyclist and it’s a very popular and accommodating place in the former ticket hall with bike storage.
Don’t come on Monday.
Birkin Fisheries Tea Rooms, just outside Selby. Always a welcome oasis mid-ride when you’re on a fast, flat one.
Nelson’s at the Park in Swarland is nice either at the end of a ride in Thrunton or as a lunch destination in itself.
Likewise The Parlour at Blagdon.
If I’m out locally then Pedalling Squares at the bottom of Whickham Bank is fantastic. Proper chilled out cyclists cafe with on site bike repair and great food. If I lived closer it’d be dangerous.
Colonna and Small's in Bath make truly fine coffee and have nice cakes. They're not cycling averse, but it's not really geared up for it as there's little bike parking nearby.
Bakehouse in Bristol, just at the end of the Bath Bristol Railway Path is smashing.
Marshalls at Berwick. Brilliant breakfasts and worth a pit-stop if you're travelling by.
Bakehouse in Bristol, just at the end of the Bath Bristol Railway Path is smashing.
I think that was the place on a GCN YouTube recently about a beginner cyclist riding a 30 mile trip.
The iconic Eureka cafe at Two Mills, bottom of the Wirral sadly closed 18 months ago. That place ONLY catered for cyclists, despite being on the junction of two major roads.
Stupid 502 form resubmission error!
Cafe Adventure in Hope (Peak District). They've done loads for MTB, particularly womens, weekly rides etc. Plus the foods excellent, spicy home made beans being my favorite.
@hot_fiat thought I could write the book about cafés in Northumberland, but didn't know about the one in Swarland, despite being a Thrunton semi-regular. Will have to try.
Millars in Longhorsley, as highlighted on a similar thread.
Agree that Pedalling Squares is dangerous - the breakfasts should probably be outlawed under the Geneva Convention.
Ballinluig just off the A9 near Pitlochry. When I was a meat eater and a regular traveller on the A9. Things may have changed.
Velo Verde at Screveton. Great coffee, good food and service, and a mecca for cyclists at weekends. Do a lot for local cycling activities, host events etc
Writing this from 200° Carrington Street branch - traffic was shit coming in to the office today, might as well enjoy the last part of the journey. Cinnamon buns to die for.
Another shout for Cafe Adventure in Hope and Billy's spicy beans.
Not a cafe per se, but Jolly's coffee van at the top of Curbar Gap.
Forge Bakehouse in Sheffield
Honey & Harvey in Woodbridge & Melton, Suffolk.
No.1 Peebles Road in Inners
The Filling Station and Little Chamonix in Keswick
Glen Lyon Post Office, not so much for the cafe but the location and roads

If you're ever in North Leeds, Slow Rise Bakery in Horsforth.
Owners are friends of mine, fantastic bagels, pastries & coffee.
No 1 Peebles Road is amazing, love that place.
Origin coffee London.
The Garden Shed Cafe in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. Bike storage, great coffee, great food - the Grasshopper is magnificent ride fuel.
Also Gilk's Garage Cafe in Kineton. Also has bike storage and good coffee.
Good shout on the van at the top of Curbar.
Also recommend Peak Feast in Youlgreave. Only do vegi and vegan food. Coffee could be better TBF.
Peak Feast at Youlgreave also does banging Victoria Sponge. Agree on the poor coffee though
Tor Cafe at Cromford is great for old school beans on toast for about £2
Whitworth park cafe in Matlock also a fav.
And finally Monyash for mid-winter cafe stop when the belly stove is going
Local to me.
Spoke Cycles out in the lanes near Codicote (Herts) very much a 'by cyclists for cyclists' set up with easy bike hanging etc and easy ride in/ride out access. I'm not a coffee man but they do very good cakes and excellent cheese toasties. Their workshop seems to have a good rep as well.
Sitting out the back on a sunny day with a mug of tea watching the random menagerie of animals in the field behind it is very much my 'happy place'
New entry is West End Barns cafe on Noman's land common near Wheathamstead, very bike friendly haven't had the cakes yet but they do really good 'proper' ice cream, a hit with the nippers.
To be fair if your stuck in Central London with bike and no or weak lock the Rapha shop in Soho make a coffee better than most indies, you can walk your bike right into the shop and take in a bit of facing on TV too.
Should add Look mum no hands Old St to the list of your stuck in Old Street area.
Nethy House cafe in Nethy bridge has to be one of the best. Coffee is first class and the food is great too. Same coffee at Glenlivet trails too both well worth a visit.
+1 for Lismore
Lanterne Rouge, Gifford
Flat Cat, Lauder
There is also a good one in Stow.
Quarters Coffee in Newport.
The Village Bakery in Backhall St., Caerleon.
Cadence at Upwaltham on the SDW.

SCHULZ[/url], on Flickr
Cafe Miami in a village outside of Leipzig is iconic in the local cycling community. Nobody actually goes in they just take a photo of their bikes outside.
Another iconic cafe is 60km south of the city in a town called Rochlitz. It has the highest hill in the area and so the cafe is a popular mid-ride meet up for all the local cyclists. They don't do cake but their Italian style baguettes and open sandwiches are great to get you through a long ride. Their coffee is great, too and they have a water filter to top up your bottles FOC.
Didn’t get on lismore though had a pint in the pier house opposite this evening
@duncancallum I think you will find my bum kept that seat warm a few days earlier, with surroundedbyhills and others around the table.
As this has popped up again, The Station Café in Grindleford is proper old school but ace!
@JonEdwards the Filing Station has changed hands I think and was pretty rubbish a couple of weeks ago.
Mary’s tea room at Bishton Hall (Stafford), cafe adventure in Hope, Cobwebs in Abbots Bromley
Lordstones at the top of Carlton Bank nr Stokesley
CSON's 'Cafe on the Green' in Ludlow, a little more local for us, than their Shrewbury's Cafe/bistro (both are very good).
Not a cafe but its my thread so...
https://www.livvislittlelunchbox.co.uk/about
Bakery in Dunkeld. Best coffee I've had in ages and the food...
My word. Great vegan and veggie options too
Mumms cafe in Southsea (Portsmouth) in the 90's before the refit and the no smoking law came in
Years of people smoking had turned the walls and ceilings yellow, pictures of 70's & 80's Pompey football players on the walls, proper greasy spoon, great for a Sunday morning recovery from the night before
Happy memories of going in there most weekends with an old girlfriend who lived nearby
It was always busy all day, serving cooked breakfasts, Sunday roasts, desserts etc... good times

Corrour Station – the Venison Lorne is worth the trip on its own.
agreed. and recommended by you Colin.
simply ace, as is the ride in.
Cobwebs in Abbots Bromley
Not been there for years, need to brush off the route.
Honeypot Tea Room at Rosliston (formerly the Beehive). Outrageous portions, and a strange combination of customers, cycle clubs from miles around and some very redneck locals.
Nashy's knocks No1 into a cocked hat. So Nashy's but it's moving so....
Yr Hen YFail , just off the main car park by the river in Dolgellau. Simple, clean and friendly, straightforward good food and coffee.
Great at breakfast time before riding up to Coed y Brenin or up into the hills.
If we are including bakeries, then the one in Mallaig is awesome. The old quay bakehouse.
Missing the Potting shed at Inshriach, awesome cakes. Closed permanently it seems.
And I have a find memory of the Horn cafes bacon rolls but by some accounts it's not what it was. Probably for health and safety reasons tbf.
Dale Head Farm in Rosedale. It has an inside bit now but best outside in the sun with a hot drink and cake.
Pic from February:

There's a Deli in Machynlleth which is pretty good, don't know the name. Or the Great Oak Cafe in Llanidloes.
@jonedwards - is the Filling Station in Keswick not closed down now?
I vote for: The Dent heritage Centre and museum, Dent
The Olive Tree, Newcastleton
Mr Brown's, Brampton
Feizor Cafe
Dent great shout!
