Dramatisation of the battle between Sir Clive Sinclair and Acorn Computers for domination of the 1980's home computer market.
Brilliant show - very funny in parts and some excellent archive flashbacks that unlocked some geeky memories.

Yeah - brought back some memories. Must've been early 1985 that I was given a Sinclair QL to evaluate for games potential... but it didn't work for very long so it got sent back.
I was proudly given a second-hand ZX81 for Christmas one year - in an old shoebox with a cassette player and a couple of tapes. 😆
That's why I'm a programmer today.
Yeah, enjoyed it a lot!
Sir Clive had a bit of a temper on him didn't he 🙂
Yes, enjoyed it too. My friend's dad was Clive's right hand man and they were given bit parts in the program. Will now have to check whether Sinclair really had groupies! Loved the shots of him in the C5.
Yes, very good!
He we used to have an Acorn Archimedes. 🙂
Will give this a watch, thanks.
This was really good. Kind Nostalgic look at early computing.
Yep, thought it was great! Really lovingly made. I was surprised by what a short time scale the whole lot happened over though.
Does make you wonder what could have been.
Britain was pretty much at the forefront of computing right from the start - yet somehow we've let our lead slip away a bit.
I thought it was good, the doc on Bob Noyce was excellent as well.
Really enjoyed that, nice one.
Yeah, watched on BBC4 earlier this week...top prog, really enjoyed it.
