Mid range/low end phone with high end processor. On paper it looks good for a cheapskate who wants something to last 4+ years. Has anyone bought one?
I bought one, and I can't fault it. Whether it will last 4 years or not I couldn't say.
My last phone's life ended when the battery wouldn't hold charge, but I was fast charging that twice a day. The Pocophone I'm only slow charging overnight - as the batteru lasts much longer under the same use.
Thanks thats helpful
I've a Xiaomi mi 8 , same manufacturer slightly better spec, Three are offering them for £24.99 a month on my 8gb data, unlimited minutes, unlimited texts.
Great phone.

I bought one two weeks ago, ebay seller £249. Great performance so far, coming off the back off two £150ish elephones over the last four years. Much better cameras and gps than the cheaper elephones. Very slick response to touch, fingerprint and facial recognition. Very easy transfer process from old Android phone too. Would buy another.
Have the problems with the touch sensor been resolved now?
IIRC the edges of the screen were far less sensitive than the centre, which resulted in it being impossible to type quickly (because letters end up in the wrong order despite being hit in the right order).
I stopped looking at them when I read it had no NFC. Is that right? I am using that more and more all of a sudden.
