Back in January I ate lovely gourmet bistro pub fish cakes. Hours later I was laid low by norovirus.
In February it was trade fair time and the only food worth eating was cray fish salad. On day 3 I felt a bit grim.
April I had pub crab cakes again and hours later was chucking up and then passed out.
Not had any thing that swims under water since. Used to eat lots of tuna pasta and am really missing prawns.
Without putting myself head down a toilet is there anyway I can check for allergies?
Anyone had a similar thing as they've got older?

I developed the same thing after a prolonged stay in hospital.
Basically 11mths in traction necessitated stuff I could digest and "evacuate " easily.
Hence fish, fish and more fish.....
Cue lots of nurses running round wondering why my vitals were crashing constantly....
They started keeping a log which led to tests.
Best bet is grab an emergency appointment at the Doc's and get a test

emergency appointment at the Doc's

It's been going on since January, does that count as an emergency?

Definitely not an emergency!

MrsMomo has an allergy to shellfish (as well as being coelliac and lactose intolerant), very similar reaction so book a regular appointment with your doctor to get tested. On the positive side, she is perfectly fine with any other fish so you might be alright with your tuna.
