.......a line from a film I just watched. I always sort of bought into the Buddhist line about freeing yourself from desire for true happiness, but dreaming of/desiring something is pretty stimulating - so long as you're basicaly happy with where you are/what you have.

I agree. But remember that "life is suffering". So desire is the cause of suffering.
